Neil Mitchell has had a frustrating exchange with Josh Frydenberg on 3AW Mornings about superannuation.

The Turnbull Government is facing backlash over its proposed overhaul of the superannuation system, with Julie Bishop since hinting at possible changes to that policy to deal with ‘unintended consequences.’

Neil Mitchell asked Mr Frydenberg what she meant.

‘It’s nothing to be worried about,’ he said.

But the 3AW Mornings host said voters deserved the right to know.

‘We need to know what we’re voting for,’ he said.

Neil Mitchell then asked Mr Frydenberg about taxation changes to the ‘Transition to Retirement Scheme.’

‘I’ll have to get back to you, Neil?’ he said.
