Neil Mitchell says Andrews Government minister must ‘go’

Neil Mitchell says Victoria’s assistant treasurer needs to go after it emerged he had at least five other shareholdings listed on his register of interest.

It comes after Danny Pearson admitted an “error of judgement” in not disclosing a potential conflict of interest over his Commonwealth Bank shares. He maintains there has been no conflict of interest.

“In any decent government, he’d be gone by now,” Neil Mitchell said on Wednesday.
