Neil Mitchell says Australia needs to ‘get selfish’ in wake of world problems

It’s time for Australia to get selfish, says Neil Mitchell.

With Turkey in turmoil, terror attacks across Europe and America on the verge of anarchy, the 3AW Mornings host said the world was a very sad place.

‘You put all that stuff together and this country starts to look pretty good and like a safe haven,’ Neil Mitchell said on Monday.

‘Yes, we have problems, but there are no coups, beheadings in the streets or a crumbling social fabric that threatens lives and peace.

‘I think the time has come to be selfish.’
