Neil Mitchell says Donald Trump looks ‘finished’ as presidential candidate, fires back at Pauline Hanson comment

Neil Mitchell says Donald Trump’s bid to become US president should be finished after it was revealed he bragged about groping women in 2005.

The 3AW Mornings host also took exception to claims from controversial Australian Senator Pauline Hanson, in which she suggested ‘a lot of men’ did the same thing.

Neil Mitchell said the safety of the world would take a step backwards if Trump is elected.

‘I believe if he did win, the world would be more dangerous,’ Neil Mitchell said on Monday morning.

‘He behaves like a lunatic and you don’t want a lunatic with his finger on the button.

‘This should be the end of him.’

As for Ms Hanson’s comments?

‘Trump is advocating and boasting about sexual assault ? the average man doesn’t do that,’ Neil Mitchell said.

‘Yes, men can be vulgar and sexist and their language privately, but I’ve never known a common habit of people boasting and talking up sexual assault.’
