Neil Mitchell says many Australians are living in “fantasy land” when it comes to COVID-19.

Professor Brendan Crabb, director and CEO of Burnet Institute, agreed.

He said there’d been a “mass national brain fade” since the emergence of Omicron.

He said he understood everybody was “over it” and he was, too.

“But we can’t just say it’s over – it’s not over,” he said.
