Neil Mitchell says the government is expected to announce an extra 2000 police for Victoria

An extra 2000 police are expected to be rolled out on Victorian streets, Neil Mitchell hears.

The boost is expected to take a couple of years to complete and will cost more than a billion-dollars.

Neil Mitchell says the Government are working on the plan and it’s expected to be officially announced soon.

‘In my view, this has to happen.’

‘It should be done urgently, it should be done as quickly as possible.’ says Neil.
