Neil Mitchell says Victorian Government is ‘at war’ with the electorate, makes a prediction about Daniel Andrews
Neil Mitchell says the Andrews Government is ‘at war’ with its electorate.
The 3AW Mornings host said Labor had ‘broken a pact’ with the Victorian people and was trying to ‘bludgeon things’ through parliament, causing an enormous amount of ‘social pain’ in the process.
He listed projects like SkyRail and the controversial choice of location for the new youth prison ? right in Labor heartland ? as examples.
‘It’s using an axe, rather than an argument,’ he said.
‘This is a government at war with its electorate.’
Neil Mitchell went on to make a prediction.
The 3AW Mornings host said Daniel Andrews would be painted as a hard man who ‘gets things done’ over the next year before playing it safe again in the lead up to the next election.
‘It’s a clever idea,’ Neil Mitchell said.
‘They’ll hope, expect, that we’ll all forget about the brutality and applaud results.
‘But the one fault I see is that I think the government is inherently dishonest.’
