Neil Mitchell slams ‘pointless’ debate between Malcolm Turnbull and Bill Shorten

Awful. Pointless. Fake.

Neil Mitchell has not held back in his assessment of Sunday night’s leaders debate between Malcolm Turnbull and Bill Shorten.

The 3AW Mornings host said he ‘learned nothing’ and neither leader was impressive.

‘I took one for the team and watched this,’ he said on Monday.

‘It was pointless. It was awful.

‘Neither Malcolm Turnbull or Bill Shorten answered a question, neither was being real.

‘We learned nothing.’

Neil Mitchell questioned how many Australians would actually vote on July 2, if it wasn’t compulsory.
