A man who tried to save the 10-year-old girl killed in Friday’s Bourke Street tragedy has given an account of what happened.

Gary Oke was walking down Bourke Street as the drama unfolded.

He narrowly avoided being struck himself, and told Neil Mitchell of watching several people being hit before rushing over to help.
