Neil Mitchell says the front page of The Herald Sun on Sunday was “deeply unfair” to Premier Daniel Andrews, after it showed the two wooden steps of a Sorrento home where he allegedly fell.

The Premier suffered serious spinal injuries from the incident in March 2021, taking three months to recover.

Neil said the front page made him feel “uneasy”.

“I thought it was overreach by The Herald Sun,” he said.

“If they’ve got new information yeah, but the size of the stairs is irrelevant.”
