Neil Mitchell: The message today on vaccination

Victoria has today recorded its highest daily COVID-19 case number in more than a year, with 208 new local cases detected.

A Victorian with COVID-19 has also died.

Neil Mitchell says while it’d be easy “to be crushed by the figures today”, we should turn our attention to what we can do — vaccinate.

“If we get out and do it were empowering ourselves,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“The only hope of getting back to some type of normal is to vaccinate.

“By not doing it you are holding the country back.”
