Neil Mitchell has weighed in on the latest Voice advertisement used by the yes side involving John Farnham’s song “You’re the Voice” posted on YouTube by the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

The 3AW Mornings host admits it’s a “powerful” ad, and came to the defence of the legendary singer after seeing comments attacking him personally for using the song.

“It’s offensive nonsense,” he said.

Professor of History at La Trobe University Clare Wright has advised the Uluru Dialogue, and played something of a personal role in John Farnham’s “You’re the Voice” being used by the yes side for the forthcoming referendum.
