Neil Mitchell: ‘We’ve got to shout’ about ‘disgraceful’ Women’s World Cup sponsor

Neil Mitchell says Australians must “shout” in protest against FIFA’s decision to allow Visit Saudi to become a sponsor for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand.

Football Australia says it’s “very disappointed” and has written to FIFA to seek urgent clarification on the controversial decision.

“This should almost be a deal-breaker. We’re being asked to help promote a country … that is an international disgrace,” Neil Mitchell said.
