Neil Mitchell has outlined 10 reasons why Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s popularity has slipped in recent weeks.

New Newspoll data suggests the Coalition and Labor now sit at 50-50 on a two-party preferred basis as the polls tighten.

Neil says the failed Voice to Parliament referendum and Mr Albanese’s extended travel schedule are some of the reasons why voters are feeling disengaged with the incumbent government.

“(Anthony Albanese) misread the mood (on the Voice referendum) and many people felt alienated,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
