Neil Mitchell says Australia cannot be divided by the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament, calling out the “rubbish” racial argument being aimed at those currently planning to vote against it.

The 3AW Mornings host said “good, decent people” would both for it, and against it.

He has again called on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who fought back tears while announcing the proposed wording of the question on Thursday, to address concerns about the impact of changing the Constitution.

“I don’t doubt the tears were very genuine, but they don’t answer the questions,” he said.
