Neil Mitchell’s message to Victorians this election weekend

Neil Mitchell says Victoria is facing a difficult time and it’s critical whoever wins the state election isn’t forced to “pander to minority interests just to stay in power”.

“We’re headed for tough times — huge financial problems, we need a leader who changes the mood, brings people together,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“It is not the time for a minority government. Vote for either side, your call, but not the wackos and fringe dwellers. I know it’s tempting because you don’t like either (Andrews or Guy), but the wackos and fringe dwellers are not what we need because whoever wins needs authority to lead through tough times, not run a government that has to pander to minority interests just to stay in power.”
