He wants to stop the “death spiral” unfolding across Australia at the moment.

“What I want to achieve is a bipartisan approach  — both parties, state and federal — but I’ll focus on the federal area because they’ve been very quiet. I want national cabinet meetings to take this on,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
