New AI assistant created for AFL coaches
Artificial intelligence has been developed to act as an assistant to coaches by providing advice to improve strategy.
Research author and PHD Candidate at Deakin University, Mitch Aarons, says this AI can help coaches make quicker decisions during games.
“The AI can analyse patterns in data from thousands of matches, whereas the human being has their own strengths as well, so it’s about bringing those together,” he told Ross and Russel.
