New figures show wealthy teenage girls are more than happy to take tanning risks

The lure of a tan is proving too much for wealthy secondary school girls.

New figures show 70 per cent of students know about the dangers of tanning.

But almost just as many – two in three – are still happy to take the risk.

The Australian Secondary Students’ Alcohol and Drug Survey found that Victorian girls, from the state’s most affluent areas, are those most likely to soak up the rays.
