New generation of art-focused taxidermists

There’s a new generation of art-focused taxidermists emerging, with women leading the charge.

Taxidermist Denis Grundy spoke with Ross and John, he says there’s lots of skills and talents involved in the art. 

‘There’s a lot more artistic talent being used to recreate the animal and habitat bases these days,’ he says. 

Mr Grundy says he doesn’t work with people’s pets, as it’s much harder to recreate the animal how their owner remembers it.
