New government report reveals concerning police data
The state government’s annual report drop has revealed concerning Victoria police figures, including roadside testing.
Nine News reporter, Heidi Murphy, says the police have failed to meet their breath testing goal.
“They’ve got a target each year that they’re supposed to do … so their target in the last financial year is three million alcohol screening tests,” she told Neil Mitchell.

She also says there are less police each year.
“We know there’s a recruitment problem, we know there’s a retention problem … and this sort of plays that out,” she said.
