New Melbourne co-captain Jack Viney speaks with Sportsday

New Melbourne co-captain Jack Viney says it was reassuring to hear the Demons were ‘on the right track’ when Jordan Lewis arrived at the club.

Viney, who will lead the club alongside Nathan Jones this year, admits he was quick to pick the brain of the former Hawthorn star.

‘He’s been terrific so far,’ Viney said of Lewis.

‘He’s come from a successful club.

‘It’s been very good to pick his brain (and) it was really good to hear him say we were on the right track.’
