New poll finds growing support for lowering the voting age

Tom Elliott has questioned whether a recent poll that found 60 per cent of Australians were open to lowering the voting age in Australia to 16 is actually the true sentiment in the community.

He’s dead against the idea.

Kergen Angel, former Youth Governor of Victoria 2022, said many 16 and 17-year-olds were already paying tax and impacted by the decisions made at elections.
