New study finds walking more than 8000 steps a day decreases chances of going to hospital
New research has found a simple walk a day could save you a trip to the hospital in future.
The study found those who walked over 8000 steps a day spent a third of a day less in hospital, compared with those who walked just under half that amount.
Ross and John spoke with Dr Ben Ewald from the University of Newcastle about the findings.
