New study reveals what practicing mindfulness can do to your brain

A new study has found practising mindfulness can help to rewire the brain connectivity of pre-teens with anxiety and attention issues.
Lead researcher of the study at the University of the Sunshine Coast thompson institute, Dr Michelle Kennedy, says the results are important.
“We’ve got lots of people using mindfulness as an intervention and seeing results – results are varied, so what we decided to do, ‘Let’s go to the science,'” she told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen, filling in for Ross and Russ.
