New ‘sweet spot’ Sherrin footy to be released
Under-performing forwards might have a new tool at their disposal to help fix their kicking woes – a footy that’s easier to kick straight.
Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure revealed on Sports Today that ball-maker Sherrin was producing a new ball with a ‘sweet spot’ built into it.
‘If you hit it perfectly, the ball goes dead straight,’ he explained on Sports Today.
The ball won’t be used in games, which led Matthew Lloyd to question its real use for players.
