New vision from inside train tunnel

The Neil Mitchell program has been leaked more video from inside the train system.

We’re told it was taken about 100 metres from Southern Cross station on a curve inside the Caulfield loop.

It was shot in recent weeks and shows planks of wood wedged between the tracks and the tunnel wall.

‘The train driver who sent it to us reckons the wood is keeping the tracks in place as they curve around a corner,’ Neil said during his program this morning.

‘He tells us the planks of wood aren’t always there.

‘The driver’s theory? It’s in place while the bolts in the tracks are being replaced.

‘If this is the case, it’s a real worry.’
