Nick clashes with Darebin Council over kids soccer goal on the street

An angry Macleod resident is back at war with Darebin Council over his children’s sports equipment.

Nick rang 3AW Drive on Thursday to vent.

He told Tom Elliott local enforcement officers had come to his house to remove soccer goals from the street, while his children were playing.

They’ve also fined him $300.

Nick clashed with Darebin Council over a similar issue almost a year ago.

‘I thought I’d come to an agreement,’ he said.

‘They came and frightened my children and didn’t even bother to knock on my door to let me know what was going on.’
