Nick Dal Santo announces retirement

Nick Dal Santo has retired.

The North Melbourne midfielder, who spent most of his AFL career at St Kilda, took to social media on Tuesday to announce he’d be finishing his football career.

He played 322 games, 263 of those with the Saints.

‘After 15 years of highs and lows, I can now say that this chapter of my life is behind me,’ Dal Santo wrote.

‘With mixed emotions and lots of processing, I’m excited about what’s ahead.’
