Nick Kyrgios is once again being criticised for his on-court behaviour after losing his match in Shanghai.

Australia’s top-ranked tennis player limply tapped a serve over the net and then walking off court before the point was finished.

The 21-year-old went on to lose the second round match at the Shanghai Masters in straight sets.

He also received a code violation for swearing and argued with spectators.

Kyrgios made no apology to fans during his post-match press conference.

‘I don’t owe them anything,’ he said.

‘I’m good at hitting a tennis ball over a net, like, big deal.’

Kyrgios has since said sorry for his behaviour in a Twitter post.
