Nick Kyrgios fires up again

Fiery tennis player Nick Kyrgios has caused controversy (again) following an on court blow up at a spectator during Perth’s Hopman Cup on Wednesday night.

In a major upset Kyrgios took out world no.2 Andy Murray in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), a major confidence booster for the controversial tennis player in the leadup to Melbourne’s Australian Open.

But the match was not without its fair share of drama, after Kyrgios fired up at a spectator on court who was heckling him.

Tony Jones said today on 3AW Mornings there were signs ‘our good old mate Nick Kyrgios’ was still something of a loose canon.

That did not sit well with caller Helen, who let loose at Tony with her thoughts on just how wrong he is: ‘I give up with you, mate.’ she said bluntly.

It’s a topic everybody wants to have a say on – even Professor Joe Siracusa, nuclear and politics expert at RMIT weighed in with his thoughts on Kyrgios at the end of his interview with Tony Jones on North Korea.
