A Melbourne restaurant has pioneered the deep-fried Tim Tam.
Hot Star Fried Chicken, located in the CBD, has developed a uniquely Taiwanese twist on the classic Australian treat.
Manager Wen Bari stopped by the 3AW studio to tell Nick McCallum all about it.

Mr Bari said it took about three weeks to perfect the recipe.
“It’s been very good. Australians have got excited,” he said.
“For the health-conscious – it might not be their thing!”
