Nick Xenophon raps and dances in bizarre new TV ad

Nick Xenophon’s new party, SA Best, has released a TV ad and it features the politician rapping and dancing in very awkward fashion.

Described by Xenophon himself as “a bit cheesy”, the ad has had mixed reaction online.

Tom Elliott said the politician “wouldn’t be troubling the Australian Top 40 any time soon”.

“It’s one of the most cringeworthy political advertisements ever,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“It’s funny. It’s weird. It’s a bit sad, as well.”

So, in typical 3AW Drive fashion, they came up with a response.

Without Tom’s knowledge, the team created a campaign tune of their own for Tom, should he ever delve into politics.
