Victoria’s anti-corruption agency IBAC has released its long-awaited Operation Richmond report, which uncovered “serious and concerning conduct” by former Premier Daniel Andrews and his ministers.

3AW political reporter Stefanie Waclawik joined Tom Elliott to unpack the report.

“It’s not good for United Firefighters Union boss Peter Marshall or I guess the Andrews government legacy,” Waclawik said on 3AW Mornings.

United Firefighters Union secretary Peter Marshall then had his right of reply, and told his side of the story.

“This is an organisation that puts themselves out there to be the enforcers of good conduct and anti-corruption, but they break the law themselves,” Marshall said about IBAC.

“This is an organisation with extraordinary powers but no accountability,” he added.

“We’ve done nothing wrong here.”
