North Korea fires another missile towards Japan
North Korea has launched another missile towards Japan, prompting the country to warn its residents to take shelter.
South Korea’s military says the unidentified missile was launched from the North Korea capital of Pyongyang, over Japan and towards the Pacific.
The missile landed in the ocean off Hokkaido.
The Japanese government issued an alert for residents in northern areas to take shelter inside.
It comes almost two weeks after North Korea conducted a test of what is believed to have been a hydrogen bomb, following a series of missile launches that have kept tensions high.
