North Melbourne chairman confirms they’re hunting Josh Kelly and Dustin Martin

North Melbourne’s chairman Ben Buckley confirmed to 3AW Football they are interested in snatching up Josh Kelly and Dustin Martin.

“Anyone who was in the market and wasn’t interested in two champions of the game would be somewhat disingenuous,” he said.

In a rare interview, Buckley said he doesn’t believe a nine year deal is irresponsible for Kelly.

“I think a player of his calibre and his age has a lot before him,” said Buckley.

“We obviously weigh up the risks and the rewards and we come to a balance and objective view about it.”
