The Allan government has settled a massive class action linked to the state’s controversial hotel quarantine program.

The class action involved more than 1000 Victorian business owners, with taxpayers set to foot a BIG bill, with the case resolved and no longer going to trial.

“This government will stop at nothing to spin and to obfuscate responsibility, and this is just another example of that,” Jacqui Felgate said.

Partner with Henderson and Ball lawyers, Justin Lawrence, then highlighted three issues in regards to the class action settlement.

“It was a very detailed and complex set of circumstances,” Mr Lawrence said.
