‘Not known for humour’: Sly’s insight into Wollert shooting

Crime reporter John ‘Sly’ Silvester explained the likely reaction of crime boss Kazeem ‘Kas’ Hamad, following the murder of his crew member Athan Boursinos.
Boursinos was gunned down just metres from his family home on Champions Parade in Wollert at about 9am on Thursday. He has since been linked to being involved in the murder of underworld figure Sam “The Punisher” Abdulrahim in January.
“Kaz is not known for his humour … If you are involved in a shooting against one of Kaz’s crew I wouldn’t bother about getting life insurance,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

He says it’s likely Boursinos was set up or shot by “someone close to him”.
