Off-duty doctor saves the life of a bowler at a cricket club in Melbourne’s east

Popular spin bowler from the Bayswater Cricket Club, Tim Emmett, is lucky to be alive after an off-duty doctor jumped to the rescue when he collapsed during the warm-up for his cricket match.

Tim is 42-years-old and wears a pacemaker after a similar incident occurred a few years ago.

The story was brought up after Jimmy Bartel noticed it and was “fascinated” by it!
