Off-duty paramedic from Geelong saves young girl’s life on holiday in Queensland
A Geelong paramedic’s last-minute decision to take a Queensland holiday has saved the life of a young girl at Sea World Resort.
Greg Seiz was holidaying with his family when the dramatic incident unfolded.
He was grabbing his three kids ice cream while they were swimming at a pool when another young girl was spotted face down in the water.
Mr Seiz told 3AW Drive he immediately “clicked” into work mode.
“When you get into these type of professions, you’re a carer, and want to help people,” he said.
“You just don’t know when it’s going to happen.”
