Officer assaulted at Melbourne Assessment Prison

RUMOUR FILE: A prison officer has been assaulted at Melbourne Assessment Prison following an incident on Monday.

‘Broken Nosed Brawl’ told the Rumour File an ambulance was called to the facility after the officer suffered a broken nose and head injuries. 

Corrections Victoria confirmed a male officer was taken to hospital, with an ambulance called just before 11am.

Police are investigating the incident.
