One person on the run and a 16-year-old arrested after aggravated burglary in Harkaway

One person is on the run after an aggravated burglary in Harkaway in Melbourne’s south-east.

Police were called to reports an Audi R8 and a Range Rover had been stolen from a Harkaway Road home at about 2.20am this morning.

The police airwing tracked down the vehicles and stop sticks were deployed on the Audi in Narre Warren North.

A 16-year-old was arrested inside the vehicle at about 3.45am.

The Range Rover was found abandoned in a nearby street.

The driver of that vehicle fled on foot and has not yet been found.
