Op Shop pulls knives from shelf after disturbing incident

A Ferntree Gully op shop has stopped selling cutlery after one of the store’s volunteers was held at knife point by a customer.

The incident happened late last year.

3AW Drive spoke with Anne, who works at the store.

And while it was only a butterknife in question, she said they pulled every sharp object from their shelves “straight away.”
