‘Operation Deep Clean’ has picked up 52 graffiti vandals

Metro and the police have been running an anti-graffiti campaign called Operation Deep Clean.

And so far, it’s already nabbed 52 offenders.

Metro Trains CEO Andrew Lezala told Neil Mitchell there are several measures in place to combat graffiti.

‘We’ve actually re-coated the inside of the X’Trapolis trains with a film that is easy to clean,’ Mr Lezala said.

Mr Lezala said he is hopeful that we can achieve a graffiti-free transport system.
