State opposition leader Brad Battin has outlined his “number one priority” if he’s elected at the next state election in November 2026.

Youth crime and law and order is at the forefront of Battin’s mind, stating it’s a “massive issue” in Victoria at the moment.

“Community safety must be the priority, and we have to have a victim focused system,” Battin told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.

The opposition leader was also questioned on protests in the CBD, the North Richmond injecting room, gas exploration, Victoria’s debt levels and the state of the roads at the moment.

“I think the most important thing here is to reintroduce our move on laws,” he said about the CBD protests.
