Opposition reveals key change to improve Victorian education system
About 27.8 per cent of Victorian students do not meet the basic requirements in NAPLAN testing in literacy or numeracy.
Opposition education spokesman Brad Rowswell told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott there needs to be a re-evaluation of best practices for teachers in a modern classroom.

“I don’t believe, having spoken to those teachers, they have the tools necessary in order to do what we ask them to do and that is simply, to teach,” he said.
