Opposition spokesman outlines Liberal and National $5 billion road repair proposal

An elected Liberal and Nationals government plans to invest $5 billion to repair and rebuild Victoria’s roads.

Opposition spokesman on roads and road safety Danny O’Brien told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott they will eliminate one million potholes and re-establish a proper, planned system of preventive road maintenance.

“It’s not going to be fixed overnight … once we start getting the actual preventive maintenance done we should be able to then reduce the number of potholes that we’ve got,” he said.
