Opposition tourism spokesperson speaks out following state budget tourism cuts

Victoria’s tourism body has had it’s funding slashed as part of the state budget, resulting in the cancellation of international events.

Opposition tourism spokesman, Sam Groth, says both the Allan government, and Visit Victoria need to be open about what’s been cut.

“At the moment, the government’s not been very transparent with the sector, the sector’s in the dark,” he told Tony Moclair.
