Optimistic Blues hanging on Brendon Bolton’s every word

An air of optimism surrounds Carlton as they return to training.

The Blues ‘won’ the wooden spoon in 2015, but young star Dylan Buckley told Sports Today that the club has ‘turned the corner’ since they appointed Brendon Bolton as head coach.

‘He’s such a passionate guy,’ Buckley said on Thursday.

‘You can’t help but sit on the edge of your seat when he talks.’

Buckley also said Dale Thomas is looking ‘really lean’ and looks set for a big year.
