All train lines delayed due to major Optus outage

The Optus network is down across the country with more than 10 million customers impacted.

Tech expert from the Guardian, Josh Taylor, weighed in on the big outage and what might’ve caused it.

It led to an hour long shutdown of the Metro train network earlier. Trains are now back up and running but there are major delays on all lines.

But Optus users are without mobile and fixed line coverage, with works underway to restore services.

Phones are currently saying SOS only.
